The concept at the base of the project is clearly represented by the longitudinal section of the structure, where it is possible to identify two complimentary bodies that characterize the building; the underground “pool” that emerges to the urban level incorporates the maintenance floor and ground level main distribution as well as the suspended Neubau building.
The first volume is characterized by the sculptural concrete walls clearly defining the independent ground level designed to create a Swiss Re “Hub” collecting people from the surrounding neighboring buildings. The upper body is organized around a central court, and hosts the work spaces and two upper floors with the client zone, the restaurant and the top floor for the executive boards.
