Lavazza Headquarters, open spaces
Following the realization of Lavazza headquarters and the renovation of the former Enel power station in Turin, CZA has also given significant attention to the design of the surrounding outdoor spaces. This area serve as a key aspect of the project, aiming to establish a strong connection with the city while providing a welcoming public environment.
At the heart of this intervention lies the creation of an expansive, tree-planted piazza located at the centre of the block, strategically linking the former Enel power station building to Lavazza’s new headquarters.
Moreover, the ground floor of the new Lavazza headquarters, dedicated to activities that engage directly with the public, overlooks a series of captivating “thematic gardens.” These gardens act as green filters, effectively bridging the gap between the building and the city, and fostering a delightful atmosphere.
The square has been thoughtfully designed to incorporate new pathways, water fountains, and versatile spaces capable of accommodating temporary events and embracing the city, offering a warm and inviting public space for people to connect, relax, and enjoy the surrounding greenery.
