A narrow plot in a rather common suburban context is the occasion to experiment on the relationship between domestic and open space.
Thin metal columns hold up a large “rural” copper-clad portico which nearly touches the heavy brick body of the house, determining a common outdoor space immersed in the green.
Neither pavilion nor a patio house, the building explores the degrees of freedom of the suburban house theme in the morphology of the Italian peripheries.
