A narrow plot in a rather common suburban situation is the occasion to experiment on the relationship between domesticity and open space.
Thin metal columns hold up a large “rural” copper-clad portico which nearly touches the heavy brick body of the house, determining a common outdoor space immersed in the green.
Neither pavilion nor patio house, the building explores the degrees of freedom of the suburban house theme in the morphology of the Italian peripheries.
