Construction begins on the revitalization of Cavallerizza Reale in Turin
The urban regeneration project of Cavallerizza Reale in Turin has officially entered a new phase, as construction work is now underway. This marks a decisive step forward in the adaptive reuse of this historically significant site, following an extensive period of research, design development, and regulatory approvals.
Awarded to CZA through an international competition, the project is designed to integrate contemporary functionality with the site’s architectural heritage, ensuring that Cavallerizza Reale will provide Turin with a new, publicly accessible complex—not only in terms of physical spaces but also as a center for cultural, educational, and social activities.
To document this important phase, we are pleased to share a photographic series capturing the first steps of the construction process. These images reflect the collaborative effort of professionals, institutions, and consultants who are contributing to the realization of this ambitious project.
