Building permit granted for Cavallerizza Reale in Turin

We are pleased to announce that the Cavallerizza Reale project in Turin has recently reached a significant milestone with the approval of the building permit. This significant milestone comes after less than two years of work, including the surveys of the “Cantieri della Conoscenza” dedicated to better understanding the building’s history and structure.

The project, awarded to CZA in early 2023 through an international competition, has addressed complex architectural and urban challenges. It carefully balances the needs of the client, the local community, and authorities, particularly in preserving the site’s heritage value. The historic Cavallerizza Reale complex will be thoughtfully regenerated to safeguard its cultural significance while creating a contemporary hub for cultural, educational, and social activities.

As the construction phase begins, we are excited to see this landmark come to life, contributing to the cultural and architectural landscape of Turin.
