The famous ceramic factory of Laveno occupied a privileged site with a beautiful South-facing exposure and a spectacular view over the lago Maggiore. The revision of a given renewal plan searchs for an architectural language and an open space design capable to graft the new quarter onto the existing lake-side promenade. The commercial portico is crowned by a stone and plaster “screen” of loggia which mediate the scale of the landscape with the private dimension of the apartments.
